Mr Potato Head has a long history across generations, dating back to the 1950’s, when Hasbro created the plastic potato with interchangeable parts. Designed to be made into all sorts of fun and unlikely face combinations, Mr Potato Head was the first toy to be advertised on television. Joining him a year later was Mrs Potato Head and both were made even more famous by appearing as toys in Andy’s toy box in the Disney classic “Toy Story”. Today you can become the “interchangeable” Potato Head – with this easy to wear his and hers tabard with a variety of facial features to suit any occasion!
